Visitors at Lunch

Parents and guardians are welcome to have lunch with their child at VHE, but all visitors must follow the guidelines below. Please note that parents and guardians are not permitted to have breakfast with students.

1. Only parents/guardians listed in Infinite Campus may come to have lunch with their student.
2. Parents/guardians may have lunch with their child once per week. Students need regular opportunities to socialize with their classmates during lunch.
3. Visitors must check in at the main office and present a valid driver’s license or a photo of their driver’s license. Please allow extra time for check-in.
4. Lunch visits are limited to 3 guests per student, since the visitor tables seat four people.
5. Visitors must remain in the cafeteria and courtyard only and may not return to classrooms after lunch.
6. Visitors must sit in the designated visitor section and may not sit at the classroom lunch tables with other students.
7. Family members or friends who are not listed in Infinite Campus may not have lunch alone with a student.
8. Individuals who are not listed in Infinite Campus may attend only when the student’s parent/guardian is physically present and listed in Infinite Campus.
9. Parents may add individuals as emergency contacts in Infinite Campus through the Parent Portal.
10. Photos are not permitted during lunch visits.
11. Visitors may not distribute food to other students, except when following the school’s birthday celebration procedures.
12. Food deliveries are not allowed. Please do not send Uber Eats, DoorDash, or other food delivery services to VHE.
13. Parent/guardian lunch visits will not be allowed on Fridays before a holiday or long weekend.
